Video Speed Changer
Make a video faster or slower — from 0.25× slow motion to 8× time-lapse — and save the result. Keeps the voice pitch natural. Free, no watermark, no upload.
The video is re-recorded while it plays, so saving takes about as long as the clip (shorter when sped up). Keep this tab open. Chrome and Edge save MP4; other browsers save WebM.
🔒 100% private — processing happens in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
How to change video speed
- Choose a video. Pick a speed — the player previews it right away.
- Keep Keep voice pitch on so speech does not sound like chipmunks (or turn it off for a fun effect).
- Press Save video and download the new file.
Speed up long tutorials, screen recordings and voice messages to 1.5× or 2×, make a 4× or 8× time-lapse of a drive or sunset, or slow a sports move down to 0.5× to see the details. Above 4× browsers mute the sound, so the time-lapse option saves without audio.
FAQ
Does it change the quality?
The picture size stays the same. The video is re-encoded, so the file size can differ from the original.
How long does it take?
Processing runs in real time at the new speed: a 2-minute video at 2× takes about 1 minute.
Only need to change audio speed?
Use the Audio Speed Changer. To trim a video first, use the Video Cutter.
