This policy explains what personal data getkg.com collects, why, and what choices you have. getkg.com is a free, independent website that publishes educational articles about cryptocurrency. We do not sell products, open accounts or ask you to register.
Who we are
The website is run by an individual based in Ireland. For any privacy question or request, email cyberiper@gmail.com.
What data we collect
- Usage data (only with your consent). If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records pages visited, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type and how you arrived at the site. IP addresses are not stored in full by Google Analytics 4.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) for security and troubleshooting. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify visitors.
- Your consent choice. We store a small cookie that remembers whether you accepted or rejected cookies, and an anonymous consent record, so we do not ask you again on every page.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply.
We do not collect payment details, government IDs or crypto wallet information, and we will never ask for your seed phrase or private keys.

Non-essential cookies are only set after you click Accept All or enable a category in Customize. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie icon in the corner of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Legal basis
Under the GDPR and the Irish ePrivacy Regulations we rely on your consent for analytics and embedded-content cookies, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for necessary cookies and server logs.
Third parties
Google (Analytics, via Google Site Kit) processes analytics data on our behalf and may transfer it outside the EU under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Our hosting provider stores the website and server logs. We do not sell or rent personal data and we do not run advertising profiles.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete data about you, object to processing, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
