How to use the VAT calculator

Removing VAT is not the same as subtracting the percentage: €123 including 23% VAT is €100 net, not €94.71. This calculator does it correctly both ways. Irish rates shown are 23%, 13.5%, 9% and 4.8%; check Revenue.ie for which rate applies to your goods or service, as rates can change.
