How to compare two texts online

  1. Paste the original text on the left and the changed version on the right.
  2. The differences appear instantly: removed lines are red, added lines are green, and changed words are highlighted inside each line.
  3. Use Ignore case, Ignore spaces or Only show changes to focus on what really matters.

A free diff checker for documents, contracts, code, articles and translations. It uses the classic longest-common-subsequence (LCS) algorithm — the same idea behind tools like git diff — to find the smallest set of changes between two versions, first line by line and then word by word. Everything is calculated in your browser, so private texts are never uploaded. Very long, completely different texts may be too large to compare at once; split them into parts.
