How to record your screen online

  1. Click Start recording and choose the whole screen, a window or a browser tab.
  2. Tick the boxes if you want your microphone and the tab or system sound included.
  3. Press Stop (or stop sharing in the browser bar) and download the video.

The recording happens entirely in your browser using the built-in screen-capture API, so nothing is uploaded. Videos are saved as WebM (MP4 in Safari) and play in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and VLC. Works best in desktop Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
