How to use the online metronome
- Set the tempo with the slider, the ± buttons or by tapping Tap tempo in rhythm.
- Choose beats per bar and subdivision; the first beat is accented.
- Press Start and play along.
The metronome schedules every click ahead of time with the Web Audio clock, so it stays rock-steady even when the page is busy — unlike simple timer-based metronomes. Use it for practising instruments, singing, dancing or running cadence. Tempo names (Andante, Allegro…) are shown as a guide.
