How to use the HTML entity encoder

  1. Paste your text or HTML code.

Encoding is needed when you want to show HTML code on a web page, put text into an attribute, or paste content into a CMS that would otherwise break it. Decoding converts named (&copy;), decimal (&#169;) and hex (&#xA9;) entities back to normal text.
