How to use the online hex viewer

  1. Open any file — it is read locally, nothing is uploaded.
  2. Scroll through pages of 4 KB with ◀ ▶ or jump to an offset (decimal or 0x hex).
  3. Search for text or a byte sequence such as FF D8 FF.

A hex viewer shows exactly what is inside a file: the offset, sixteen bytes in hexadecimal and their printable characters. Use it to inspect file headers, find hidden text in binaries, check encodings and line endings, or debug file formats you are writing yourself. Large files are paged in 4 KB blocks so the browser stays fast.
