How to use the find and replace text tool

Paste the text you want to change.
Type what to find and what to put instead; the number of matches updates live.
Click Replace all, then copy the result. Made a mistake? Press Undo.

Change a name throughout a contract, fix a repeated typo, swap a product code in a price list or clean up exported data. Whole-word mode avoids replacing parts of other words, and match case keeps “Apple” separate from “apple”. Power users can switch on regular expressions and use groups such as $1 in the replacement. It works with any language, including Cyrillic.
