How to use the CSS minifier

  1. Choose CSS or JavaScript and paste your code.

  3. Copy or download the result. CSS can also be beautified back into readable form.

Minified files load faster, especially on mobile. The CSS minifier also shortens colours like #ffffff to #fff and drops units on zero values. The JavaScript minifier is safe and conservative: it removes comments and whitespace but keeps strings, template literals and regular expressions intact and never renames variables. Keep your original file — minified code is hard to edit.
