How to use the cron expression generator
- Type a cron expression with five fields: minute, hour, day of month, month, day of week.
- Or click a preset to start from a common schedule.
- Each field is explained and the next eight run times are listed in your local time.
Cron schedules run backups, reports and scripts on Linux servers, CI pipelines and cloud schedulers. Supports lists (1,15), ranges (9-17), steps (*/10), month and weekday names (JAN, MON) and shortcuts like @daily. When both day-of-month and day-of-week are set, standard cron runs on either one — this tool follows that rule.
